A couple of weeks ago my mom & sister-in-law threw Felicia a surprise bridal shower. I was sad because I knew I wasn't going to be able to go. It would be too expensive and too hard to get the time off work for both the shower AND the wedding a month and a half later. So, knowing I wasn't going to be able to make it home for the shower, I wanted to do something special for my sister. I would have loved to help out with decorations/planning, but when your 2000 miles away, it's a little hard to help plan a party, especially one that you can't make it to. So, I decided to design & create her some really special invites:
I even learned how to use a sewing machine!

Tab~ Those are so freaking adorable! You are so talented:) I know how difficult it is to be that far away from family. How special that you could make those for her. Soon you will be there to celebrate and joyous occasion:) xo
I was hoping I would be the first to comment, but my phone wasn't working right and we were out of town in Indianapolis for work stuff! So I just wanted to say that I miss you and I love love loved these invitations! Everyone missed you at the shower but definitely boasted about how amazing of a job you did on these, and how the could tell you made them! Thank-you so much, it truly means the world you put so much work into them! AND they look amazing....CAREER in the future? I think YES!

Love them, and the paper ~ I have it too:) You need to start making millions with all of your creations, you are so talented. I'm sorry you couldn't be there to celebrate with your family, I'm sure it breaks your heart to miss special events like that. Hugs
Tabitha, I knew that you sent these invites because of the return address on the envelope. And I was a little suspicious that they were handmade ... I was not sure until I read your blog. They looked so professionally done. You did an AMAZING job and I wish that I would have known before that you hand made these invitations. They were awesome and I would have loved to tell you so in person at the wedding. You have a real talen and I agree with Felicia ... CAREER in the future? If you want it, YES!
